Voter turnout in legislative elections in France 1958-2024, by round
On the 9th of June 2024, after the results of the European elections and the important score of the National Rally, France's first far-right party, President Emmanuel Macron dissolved the National Assembly and called for legislative elections. After a short electoral campaign, more than 66 percent of the French registered voters still went to vote in the first round of the election. This represented an increase of almost 20 points of percentage compared with the previous elections of 2022.
