During the period between 2011 and 2015 the volume of craft beer produced in Mexico steadily increased. In 2018, craft beer production was forecast to reach a volume of 189,250 hectoliters, more than 17 times the amount produced in 2011. This industry is estimated to employ more than six thousand employees.
