59 percent of consumers in Poland, it was important or very important to get acquainted with the composition of the cosmetic in 2019. This issue was more often pointed out by women than men (62 percent vs. 51 percent). The percentage of people for whom the composition of cosmetics is important or very important was the highest among people over 54 years old (70 percent). Persons aged 55 and more, often indicated similarly high importance of purchasing cosmetics in larger or glass environmentally friendly packaging (69 percent) and purchasing cosmetics of Polish brands (68 percent). Awareness of which country a given cosmetic comes from is essential for people aged 55 and more (58 percent vs. 40 percent among people aged 40 and under).
