Prefecture with the friendliest residents in Japan 2020
According to a survey conducted in November 2020 among locals of the 47 prefectures in Japan, around 28 percent of respondents residing in Tokyo perceived themselves as friendly. The majority of the top ten prefectures with people perceiving themselves as gentle were located on the western part of the Japanese archipelago.
