Russians' expectations for their country in the upcoming year 2004-2024

According to the survey conducted at the end of 2023, the majority of Russians expected the year 2024 to be generally good for their country, as per 41 percent of respondents. However, 28 percent believed 2024 would be rather difficult for Russia. The most optimistic expectations were observed in 2007, when 70 percent of Russians expected the year 2008 to be good or successful for the country.
