This statistic presents the share of respondents that identified as having participated in motor sports from 2015 to 2020, in a survey undertaken to assess the experience of sport in Northern Ireland. Although the share of respondents that have undertaken this activity showed a slight decline to one percent in 2016 and 2017, it returned to two percent from 2018. One of the most significant trends revealed within this statistic is the difference between the gender-specific share of respondents that have participated in motor sports over this period with no female respondents identifying as having participated in recreational motor sports during the study period.
