Most childcare-friendly prefectures in Japan 2021
According to a survey conducted in November 2021 among locals of the 47 prefectures in Japan, around 33 percent of respondents residing in Miyazaki claimed that the prefecture can boast about its childcare-friendly living environment. The survey revealed further that the capital Tokyo ranked last in terms of childcare friendliness, with only nine percent of residents stating the metropolis can boast about its lifestyle supporting families with children.
