Most livable prefectures in Japan 2021
A narrow majority of Japanese people residing in Tottori, around 55 percent, claimed that the prefecture can boast about its comfortable lifestyle, according to a survey conducted in November 2021 among locals of the 47 prefectures in Japan. The survey revealed that the capital Tokyo ranked only 37th as the prefecture easiest to live in, with approximately 29 percent of its residents stating the metropolis can boast about its lifestyle.
