Russia: main business risks compared to 1990s

According to Russian business representatives, risks for entrepreneurs significantly changed since the beginning of the 1990s. Over 80 percent of respondents named homicide a potential risk for businessmen who worked in the country in the 1990s. In the following almost 30 years, the most mentioned risk for modern businessmen became a loss of business reputation, as per 56 percent of survey participants.

* Survey participants were born in the years 1957-1963 and 1980-1991 and are engaged in entrepreneurship, representing large, middle-sized, and small businesses across the whole country. The interviews included all production areas. The survey was conducted on an anonymous basis.
