In Belgium, over 87 percent of sexually active women who have a higher education used a contraceptive method in 2018. According to this study, it appeared that the higher the education level, the higher the use of a contraception method. For instance, 56 percent of women with a primary education used a contraceptive method, whereas 80 percent of women with upper secondary education used one.
