Alcoholic beverages sales in the Netherlands 2018, by purchase channel
In 2018, a significant share of the alcoholic beverages in the Netherlands was sold via regular supermarkets. Over 65 percent of all alcoholic beverages sold was sold in a regular supermarkets. Specialized stores, such as liquor stores, held a market share of approximately 23 percent that year.
