Most German consumers prefer to pay via an e-Wallet (like PayPal or Alipay) when doing their online shopping. This statistic shows the results of an online survey conducted in Germany in 2018. 53 percent of respondents stated they paid with an e-Wallet, while only 8 percent used an online bank transfer.
