In advance shopping for New Year’s presents became steadily common year-on-year in Russia. By 2019, while one quarter of Russians delayed gift shopping till the last days, the rest did it beforehand.

The percentage points do not sum up to 100 percent as 87 percent of the sample participants responded to the stated question in 2019. The rest of respondents found it difficult to answer.
The survey sample was polled in 104 urban and rural settlements throughout 53 subjects of Russia.
Statistical error does not exceed 3.6 percent.
