As of 2018, the average selling price of sheep milk cheese in Italy amounted to almost 14 euros per kg. In particular, it was found that the price in the North-West part of the country was higher than in the rest of the Italian Peninsula, reaching 13.46 euros per kilo during the period considered. By contrast, the average price of sheep milk cheese accounted for 11.48 euros per kilo in the South and in the islands.
