If nearly a third of the Russian population aged four years and older watched Channel One Russia on the New Year’s Eve in 2007, by 2019, the figures revealed an eye-catching transformation. Namely, during the last 12 years, Channel One Russia lost 70 percent of the New Year’s audience, while Russia-1 saw its figures reduced by 40 percent.
