The majority of apparel and footwear online stores in Russia employed statistics and analytics for marketing in 2020. Advertising networks were the second most popular service for promotional purposes among nearly 90 percent of Russian online retailers of fashion.

Statistics based on the data of 109 online stores among top 1,000 Russian online retailers with a minimum annual turnover of at least 100 billion Russian rubles. The study included stores selling only clothes and shoes, as well as stores for which this is the main but not the only category and two universal marketplaces - Wildberries.ru and Ozon.ru.
