Automotive and assembly, as well as telecom industries worldwide reported the biggest workforce cuts in 2019 due to the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, according to a global AI survey. Eight percent of respondents from the automotive and assembly industry said that AI adoption has led to more than ten percent decrease in the workforce in their companies. While retail and high tech industries boasted the highest workforce increases as a result of AI adoption.
