Expenditure on defense as a share of GDP in the CEE region 2020-2024
Poland, Estonia, and Latvia are expected to allocate most of the GDP to defense in 2024. According to NATO data, Poland is the member that allocates most of all alliance members in terms of GDP share to defense. Following Poland is Estonia, whose defense spending will amount to 3.43 percent of GDP, 1.43 percentage points more than the NATO guideline.
