Since 2009, indirect exports have been steadily increasing to decline again in 2016 in Poland. The total amount of indirectly exported steel in 2018 was around 9.7 million metric tons, an increase of more than seven percent compared to the previous year. The total amount of indirectly imported steel in 2018 amounted to more than seven million metric tons.
