These statistics were mainly dominated by drivers from Central and Eastern Europe, especially Ukraine. Ukrainian drivers caused over 1,000 road accidents, of which 104 people were killed and over 1,200 wounded. Ukrainian citizens also caused over 19,000 road collisions in Poland in 2023.
