In 2019, Lebanon had the highest number of average cigarettes consumed by adult smokers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, followed by Kuwait at about 1.8 thousand. Yemen had the least number of cigarettes consumed by adults at 214. For most MENA countries, adult smokers consumed between 1200 and 2000 cigarettes per person in that year.
