Degree of control regarding personal information according to U.S. adults 2019
When online users in the United States were asked about how much control they felt they had about who can access their information, it was found that surveyed adults were most concerned about who could access their online searches. A June 2019 survey revealed that 48 percent of respondents stated that they felt they had no control over who could access their online search. A further 39 percent of respondents stated that they only felt they had little personal control over their search term information.
