In 2019, 56 percent of respondents in Singapore somewhat agreed that their companies were willing to cater to one's experience and aptitude over academic qualifications. A total of 30 percent somewhat and strongly disagreed with this statement. In another survey, 53 percent of respondents shared that one's potential at the workplace is determined by their educational background.
