In 2018, Eagle Point, Texas (Galveston Bay) was the most frequently hit U.S. location by tidal flooding, with 27 tidal flooding days across the year. The Western Gulf region is one of the most susceptible areas of the United States to tidal floods, particularly in the Autumn. Rising sea levels is expected to increase the rate of tidal flooding across many U.S. coastal locations.
