In 2018, respondents found that dirt/stain/graffiti were the most common type of dirt and/or rubbish in Singapore wet markets. This was followed by used tissue paper at 24 percent. According to the survey, hawker centers and coffee shops were the sites where more respondents report encountering dirt and rubbish.
