Jowar accounted for about 77 billion Indian rupees in the Indian economy in fiscal year 2021. This value was lower compared to gross value output of the cereal from the previous fiscal year. Paddy was the largest contributor to cereal production GVO within agriculture in the south Asian country, followed by wheat.
