In the winter season 2023/2024, Lombardy was the leading domestic market in Italy for ski tourism. Overall, visitors from that region represented around 37 percent of domestic ski travelers in Italy during that season. Lazio and Emilia-Romagna followed in the ranking, accounting for roughly 15 percent and 14 percent of domestic ski tourists, respectively.
