In the winter season 2018/2019, most domestic tourists that went on winter holidays in Italy came from Lombardy. According to the results of the survey conducted among hotel and non-hotel facilities, visitors from Lombardy accounted for nearly 17 percent of all domestic tourists in the considered winter season. Moreover, approximately 14 percent of tourists came from Lazio, and roughly ten percent from Emilia Romagna.
