Online dating has become more popular among the singles from the first-tier cities in China, namely Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. According to a survey about online dating in China in August 2018, about 68.7 percent of the respondents who lived in the first-tier cities had used online dating self-services.
