Speed-dating event participant age distribution in China 2018

According to a survey about online dating in China in August 2018, approximately 47.6 percent of the Chinese respondents aged between 18 and 21 years had participated in a speed dating event, compared to 25 percent of the respondents aged between 36 and 40 years. Due to the decades long one-child policy, a skewed sex ratio has developed in China. Many single Chinese men, especially migrant workers, struggle to find a dating partner.
