According to a report on the state of bicycle roads in South Korea, around 32 thousand abandoned bicycles were recovered across the country in 2022. This is a figure decreased from around 35 thousand in the previous year. Almost half of those bicycles were recovered in Seoul, around 15.5 thousand,while another quarter of those were recovered in Gyeonggi province, at around eight thousand.
