Destiny 2 is an online multiplayer first-person shooter game which was first released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in September 2017. Whilst the game was initially available on Windows the following month, it only became available on the online gaming platform, Steam, some two years later in October 2019. In the first month of its release on Steam, the game peaked at 292,314 concurrent players worldwide. Destiny 2 reached a peak of 89,512 players gaming at the same time in October 2024.
