Middle Asia was the second-largest with 16.85 percent share, followed by Southern Africa and East Africa. That year, Laos and Kyrgyzstan were the most popular investing countries for Chinese enterprises, American and European countries were the least favorable options. China's overseas cement investment was estimated to increase.
