According to a 2019 survey, the leading reason elementary school students in the United States use digital learning tools is that they are fun, with 96 percent of respondents selecting this response. This enthusiasm appears to drop with age though: only 65 percent of middle school students and 59 percent of high school students agreed they are fun.
