According to a survey on plant-based food consumption in Malaysia by Rakuten Insight, nearly 70 percent of respondents from both genders stated that they have consumed plant-based alternatives to animal-based food products. In comparison, 22 percent of female respondents and 25 percent of male respondents stated they have not consumed plant-based food products.
