According to a survey on plant-based food consumption in Malaysia by Rakuten Insight, 42 percent of the respondents stated that they did not consume plant-based food because it costs more than the original. In comparison, 29 percent of the respondents stated they did not do so as they were unsure about the ingredients in the plant-based alternatives.
