Online courses offered by companies working in specific industry fields were the most trustworthy type of e-learning for Russian employers as of 2019, as per 31 percent of respondents in 2019. E-learning programs created by national higher education institutions were considered more reliable than the ones from foreign universities, with the former receiving a 26 percent share of answers, compared to eight percent gained by the latter.
