In 2022, there was a decrease of over three million registered two wheelers in Delhi, India compared to the previous year. This took the total number of two wheelers in the nation's capital to approximately 5.1 million. The increase in the number of vehicles on the streets of Delhi played a major role in establishing it as one of the most polluted cities in the world.
