A survey conducted in Italy in May 2019 among heat-not-burn tobacco cigarette users revealed that almost 27 percent of them were planning to quit smoking in the six months following the interview. On the contrary, roughly 70 percent of heat-not-burn cigarette smokers had no intention to abandon such a habit in the foreseeable future.
