Factors for choosing plant-based food in Thailand 2024, by age

According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in February 2024 in Thailand, 70 percent of respondents who were between 45 and 54 years old stated that they chose plant-based foods because they believed that these products were healthier. In comparison, 40 percent of respondents aged between 16 and 24 years old and 25 and 34 years old stated that they chose plant-based alternatives as they wanted to try a food trend.
