According to a survey by Rakuten Insight in Vietnam, as of February 2024, difficulty in finding was the leading reason for not consuming plant-based food among 44 percent of female respondents and 37 percent of male respondents who did not consume these products. The same survey also revealed that around 86 percent of Vietnamese respondents had consumed plant-based alternatives to animal-based food products.
