According to a survey by Rakuten Insight in Vietnam, as of February 2024, 90 percent of female and 83 percent of male respondents claimed that they had tried plant-based milk alternatives such as soy, rice, almond, or oat milk. The same survey also revealed that around 86 percent of Vietnamese respondents had consumed plant-based alternatives to animal-based food products.
