According to a survey by Rakuten Insight in Vietnam, as of February 2024, about 89 percent of female respondents stated that they had consumed plant-based alternatives to animal-based food products. The same survey also revealed that in total, around 86 percent of Vietnamese respondents had consumed plant-based alternatives to animal-based food products.

Original question: "Have you ever consumed plant-based alternatives to animal-based food products (such as nut or rice milk, 'cheeses' made from nuts, plant-based burger patties or sausages, vegan gummi bears, etc)?."
The survey was conducted among 1,490 female and 1,716 male respondents from Vietnam.
