Domestic online sales of physical goods in Russia 2011-2018
Online sales of physical goods in the Russian e-commerce expanded in value year-on-year. The noteworthy decline in 2015 and 2016 was caused by the crisis-driven depreciation of Russian ruble. Since 2016, the figures returned to usual growth rates and in 2018, 18 billion U.S. dollars worth of online sales of physical goods were recorded within the country.
