According to a survey by Rakuten Insight in Vietnam, as of February 2024, 86 percent of the respondents claimed that they had tried plant-based milk alternatives such as soy, rice, almond, or oat milk. By comparison, 44 percent tried plant-based meat alternatives, including plant-based burgers and mock meats.
