According to a survey by Rakuten Insight in Vietnam, as of February 2024, about 86 percent of the respondents stated that they have consumed plant-based alternatives to animal-based food products. In the same survey, 86 percent of the respondents claimed that they have tried plant-based milk alternatives such as soy, rice, almond, or oat milk.
