The climate change emergency has led to a higher awareness of the damaging effects of flying on the environment. But in the UK, how willing are people to change their flying habits in response to climate change? According to the October 2019 survey, 25 percent of UK residents were willing to avoid flying where possible, such by using alternative 'greener' means of transport, while 29 percent stated that they do not fly at all already. However 15 percent were unwilling to take any actions in this respect, compared to nine percent who were willling to give up flying altogether.
