England: cancer patients starting treatment within 31 days of decision 2010-2021
In January 2021, 94.01 percent of cancer patients in England started cancer treatment within 31 days of the decision to treat. This was the second lowest share of patients starting treatment within 31 days across the provided time interval, only higher than the share that occurred in June 2020. There has been eight occasions in 2020 when the NHS target to treat 96 percent of patients within a month has been missed.
