According to Rakuten Insight about a survey on non-alcoholic beer consumption, a majority of respondents drank non-alcoholic beer to try it, making up over 29 percent. On the other hand, 2.5 percent of respondents were pregnant when they had consumed this variety of beer.
New flagship brands from beverage giants Coca-Cola and PepsiCo were set to compete with non-alcoholic beers in the Indian urban markets in 2019. Among many reasons, this was a result of a recent decrease in the consumption of carbonated beverages as well as in alcoholic beverages.
