According to Rakuten Insight about a survey on non-alcoholic beer consumption, on average, male respondents seemed to consume non-alcoholic beer more when compared to their female counterparts. While most did not consume this variety of beer, about eight percent each among men and women always consumed it during the survey period.
New flagship brands from beverage giants Coca-Cola and PepsiCo were set to compete with non-alcoholic beers in the Indian urban markets in 2019. Among many reasons, this was a result of a recent decrease in the consumption of carbonated beverages as well as in alcoholic beverages.
